Group Training

Group Training.

Grab your mates, your workmates, or your team. I'll run a private 45-minute coached session for two to six people at Phenom Gym in Cork, tailored to the group. Same quality of coaching, split across more people, cheaper per head.

Pricing

Pricing per person.

All prices are per person for a single 45-minute session. One person books and pays for the whole group. Makes life easier for everyone.

The Session

What you actually get in 45 minutes.

A group session runs the same shape as a 1:1, just with more people moving through it together:

01

Warm-up

Everyone in.

02

Working sets

Usually circuit-style, with stations set up around the gym. Either time-based or rep-based depending on the group. Compound lifts feature first.

03

Accessory work

More stations, more focused movements.

04

Finisher

Short, intense, fun.

05

Cool-down

Together, while we chat through how it went.

Everyone does the same exercises. Weights and loading get adjusted per person. If one of you is a regular lifter and three of you have never picked up a barbell, that's fine. We just scale the weight at each station. The structure of the session doesn't change.

Where It Happens

Where we train.

Group sessions usually run at Phenom Gym in Cork, the same place I coach 1:1. Mornings and lunchtimes work best. The gym is quieter, the floor is freer, and there's room to set up stations properly.

For corporate groups, I can come to you. If your office has space (or there's somewhere nearby), I'll bring what's needed and run the session there. We'll work it out on the call.

Who Books

Who actually books group sessions.

Groups of mates.

Two to six friends who want to train together rather than separately. Cheaper per head, more fun than going alone, and you keep each other accountable.

Hen and stag parties.

A different kind of pre-wedding activity from the usual. Active, fun, everyone leaves having actually done something.

Bridal and groom parties.

If a wedding party wants to train together in the run-up to the day, we can run one-off sessions or set up an ongoing weekly group. Talk to me on the consultation and we will figure out what works.

Work team-building.

A genuinely different option for a team day. I can run it at Phenom or come to an office space near you.

Sports teams.

Rugby, GAA, hurling, anyone training for a season. I can run one-off conditioning sessions or set up a recurring slot.

Ongoing Groups

Want to make it a regular thing?

If you've got a group that wants to train together weekly, same people, same time, ongoing, that works too. There's a discount for booking blocks of sessions rather than one-offs. We'll talk through the structure and pricing on the consultation.

What's Included

What's in a group session.

The session, the coaching, the equipment at Phenom (or what I bring to your space). That's it.

Group sessions do not include:

  • × A written program for anyone in the group
  • × A personalised diet guide
  • × Access to the private community on Slack
  • × The freebies (calculators, FAQs, guides)
  • × One-to-one attention outside the session

Those all come with a structured PT plan. If anyone in the group wants to take their training further on top of the group session, that's a separate conversation.

Cancellation

The fine print.

Group bookings have their own policy because there's more at stake. I block the time, set up the space, and may turn down other work to run the session.

More than 24 hours' notice

Reschedule once for no charge. Reschedule a second time and there's a 25% charge of the total group booking.

Less than 24 hours' notice

50% charge of the total group booking.

The organiser who booked the session handles any cost. It's between them and the rest of the group how that gets split.

Ready When You Are

Got a group in mind?

The best way to figure out whether a group session is right for you is a free 30-minute consultation. We'll talk through who's coming, what they want, and whether it's a one-off or ongoing.
